- Some questions frequently asked by houseowners : preschool alternatives?
♥ i have 2 (3 year old) girls that are ready for preschool but the only problem we have is money. our school district preschool is $1701 per child for the age 2-3, that is pretty expensive for us plus we have 2 kids. i know i do not have to take them in this year, however, i would of loved it if i had the extra money. since i am stay at home mom what can i do to teach them at home, "home schooling," as if they were at school? do you recommend any books, website or tools. thanksopen question: teachers would you like it if a book set came with al the paperwork as well?
♥ i am working on a book set for preschool age through 4th graders. the book set has 7 books in it and is designed for teachers and parents to teach children about volunteering. i have designed the book set to come with worksheets for all ages, as well as including a test for 1-2 grade and 3-4 grade. and i have also included sight words for preschool and kindergarten and then spelling words for the other ages. as a teacher would you be happy if a book set came with all of that extra stuff in it?i want to start preschooling my child at home who is 3 years old?
♥ does anyone know of any good resources that i can find for preschool worksheets & materials online or anywhere else that has been helpful for their child. any good suggestions would be great too. she is 3 so her attention span is kind of short but she's very smart. she can count to 15 & can recognize her numbers 1-9. she knows her basic shapes & basic colors & can also count from 1-8 in spanish. i am working with her on the alphabet especially right now. any help would be appreciated. thanks!homeschooling my preschooler?
♥ i want to homeschool my son for preschool and possibly kindergarten. my question is this, about how much will all of the supplies cost me, and what are all the things i will need other than the obvious workbooks and such.i'm trying to figure out how much my ex should be paying in child support?
♥ my ex and i have a three year old child. we have never gone to court and have always worked everything out on our own. while he was in school i only made him pay $150 a month. now that he has graduated he pays $375 but i still think that is way below what he should be paying. i know he brings in an average of $650 a week. my question is how much should he be paying and if it goes off of both our incomes (i make about $470 a week) will my husbands (i just got remarried) income taken into account? my little one is about to start preschool so i know my expenses are about to go up. thanks everyone, according to the calculator he should be paying around $775 a month. $400 more a month is a big difference. i don't think i will make him pay that much but maybe we can meet somewhere in between. ** i just spoke to my ex and we have agreed on $500 a month for now and we will revisit the amount next january.** thanks for all the advise. spelling correction *advice.
