- Some questions frequently asked by houseowners : i need to know about the respiratory system for school can u help me?
♥ i am haveing a test on monday over the respiratory systemhomeostasis: respiratory and blood ph - relation to exercise.?
♥ i have a worksheet for my biology class. basically you assume somebody jogs for 20 minutes, i have to figure out what waste product is produced by the body(i said co2) , what happens to the ph of the blood, what changes will you see in the body, what is the stimulus for this feedback, name the effector, would this be a negative or positive feedback mechanism(i am thinking neg), and also when does the feedback loop stop. i don't just want the answer, i'd like someone to point me in the direction of a help website, i have limited reading on this material, we are supposed to use the web for these sheets and i haven't found a site i like. i also have to do one on the endocrine, urinary and digestive systems. thank you.i am teaching my anatomy and physiology class about the respiratory tract. any creative ideas?
♥ i want to make this as fun as possible with an activity. all the other students did a powerpont or worksheet etc etc. and i want to do something that is actually worth teaching about. i was going to do a type of experiment with balloons but i need some ides first. i am teaching about changing thoracic volumes, pressure changes and airflow, and lung recoi. can someone help? keep in mind this is a college course so nothing to babyish!please please help me on this anatomy worksheet.?
♥ please help me find the answers! asap.. its anatomy and physiology class homework!are you good at biology -blood -respiratory system?
♥ i am studying for a biology unit test on the digestive, circulatory and respiratory systems. i have some questions. i've been reading my notes and somethings still don't make sense to me. it's mostly about the circulatory system and a little on the respiratory. thanks if you can help! 1.the pulmonary circuit: does deoxygenate blood carry co2? after the blood reaches the lungs does it pick up oxygen? then does the blood go into the systemic circuit? 2.the systemic circuit: after the blood goes to the body and is now returning to the heart, is the blood de-oxygenated? is it carrying co2? does the blood then go into the pulmonary circuit? 3.is the pulmonary and systemic circuit one big loop? 4.what does this mean? aorta -> arteries -> arterioles ->capillaries ->venules ->veins. i just found it randomly in my notes. what does it have to do with? 5. what are the steps co2 takes to get from the blood, to going out the mouth? 6. what steps does co2 take to get from a cell to lungs? 7. does co2 go through the heart? 8. in my notes it says re: capillaries "thin walls allow nutrients and oxygen to pass out of the blood and waste products to pass into the blood" is this statement wrong? shouldn't oxygen go into the blood and co2 out of the blood and into the lungs? 9. this was a question on a worksheet. "what happens after hemoglobin gives up oxygen?" and the teacher said the answer was "takes co2 and is considered de-oxygenated." so does that mean the de-oxygenated blood does contain co2? so co2 does go to the heart? 10. what is the function of the oral cavity? is it just the intake of air? 11. what are inter costal muscles? thank you so much! if u can answer any of these it would be a lot of help! when you answer the q's please put the question # before so i know what ur talking about instead of having all the answers in a big paragraph! for #4 this was a flow chart showing something. does blood follow this at anytime.
